Over the last 13 years Kimi has been committed to working with people to help them through a wide variety of struggles. From couples dealing with relational distress to individuals working through personal challenges such as stress, anxiety,depression, emotional dysregulation, etc., Kimi has successfully helped many to find their healing.Her training helps her work with young adults,teenagers and children of all ages, including children coping with behavioural & emotional challenges. Her approach of working with the whole family system, has helped her clients see more tangible and long-lasting positive results in a variety of situations. With her complimentary skills and an intuitive,empathetic and solution-focused approach,Kimi also works with families of‘differently-abled’ children and helps them create a comprehensive familial support system. Kimi’s experience includes working with the trans-gender community & individuals experiencing GenderDysphoria. In 2017,a personal tragedy with Cancer forced Kimi to find meaning in the experience. She recognised the urgent need of counseling support that works in synergy with mainstream treatment,enabling more effective treatment outcomes and helping reduce disease relapse for people dealing with a cancer diagnosis. After getting certified in CancerCounselling, Kimi founded the‘Tree ofLife’, an organization that also offers counselling and coaching to individuals and families going through a Cancer diagnosis Upgrading herself constantly, Kimi is trained and certified in a number of modalities and skill sets. She is a Certified Hypnotherapist and a Certified Heal Your Life Workshop Leader. She has attended workshops in TraumaTherapy, Addiction Therapy, Art Therapy to name a few. Being an avid artist herself,whose work has been displayed in many art shows, she seamlessly incorporates Art Therapy elements in her counseling practice.
