He has taken part in many reality shows and also Indian Idol, Sa re ga, ma pa, Sur Sagar. He was selected for Indian Idol top 40 in season 4, Rising Star top 30 (level 3) He has won state level awards like "Voice of Jharkhand,intercollege award, Voice of Xavier, Doordarshan artist, KIIT fest, NIT Rourkela, Mumbai competition. He has released an album" Ankhon Se". He teaches ghazals too.
