Heaven, our viewing gallery
It’s a present
to present
to our children
when we r above
An earth
that’s healthy and safe
happy and secure
well fed and able to feed
not barren or a future obscure
peaceful and at ease
We are far from that
Which means
We are leaving our kids
On shaky dry pastures
Where is our sense
Of duty
our nurture for nature
a safe and secure nest
a lush green earth ?
I wish for this
I dream of it
for my children
and theirs
and yours
and theirs
As much as college
their admissions
earth’s ruthless
carbon emissions
replace half the thoughts
and just imagine
If we don’t cherish the earth
Imagine our children
fighting for air since birth
while we are looking on
from a perfect environment
called heaven
far far away from earth
